Terry Paff
President / CEO
Terry became Partner at Rash Curtis in 2000 and acquired sole ownership in 2008. Mr. Paff is a well-known figure in the Receivables Management industry. He has experienced every aspect of the collection business over 40 years. He is experienced in all types of bad debt but has specialized in Healthcare Receivables for the last 18 years. Perhaps best known for his ability to recruit and train qualified personnel, Terry’s recovery teams are competitive with the highest performance levels in the industry for local and national clientele.
Mr. Paff is constantly analyzing process flows and statistics and making changes as deemed necessary to increase revenue. He has developed and maintained collection centers utilizing sophisticated technology and state of the art automated call center processes.
A member of HFMA, (Healthcare Financial Management Association) since 1989, Mr. Paff has served and Chaired several Committees and has been an active member on the Board of Directors since 2002. President of the Northern California chapter for HFMA from June 2013 to May 2014, Terry is currently enjoying his role as “Past President”.
Natasha Paff
Chief Operations Officer
Natasha Paff has served the health care industry for more than 35 years and set the standard for hospital administrative efficiency. Her passion is leading organizations toward a cultural transformation, and world class patient satisfaction by executing new initiatives and business strategies.
As Department Head of Patient Access at Stanford for 22 years, then John Muir Hospital 11 years, Natasha’s experience is unparalleled in managing all aspects related to Patient Access and Patient Financial Services vis-á-vis Patient Access, Registration, Pre-Registration, POS Collections, Customer Service, Insurance Verification/Authorizations, Financial Counseling, Screening for other funding sources, Charity Programs, Self-Pay and Collections, Insurance Billing and Follow-Up, Underpayments, Appeals, Contracting, Medicare and MSP Audits and HIPAA Compliance.
Mrs. Paff was a key member of three major hospital computer conversions, her primary role was then, and is now to maximize reimbursement through detailed analysis, including streamlining processes, developing policies and procedures, training, promoting accountability and teamwork. Natasha provides the highest level of experience, skill and efficiency to our operations.

Bob Keith
VP Operations / Client Services / Legal
Bob has 26 years experience in commercial and healthcare collections. He is proficient in all aspects of collections including but not limited to the following: Skip-Tracing, Front Line Collector, Collection Manager, Legal Collections, Early-Out services and Client Services.
Bob has for many years lead multiple departments, most notably as Director of Credit and Collections. While serving in this capacity he developed and instituted a collection, credit granting and customer service call center for 121 retail stores. He is currently a board member of HFMA and serves as chair of the Sponsorship Committee.
Ralph Keith
Director of Business Development
Ralph has over 30 years of experience in accounts receivable management and the debt collections industry. Ralph joined Rash Curtis & Associates in 2017 as the Director of Business Development. Prior to joining RCA, he held senior management positions with regional and national receivables management firms.
Ralph has numerous continuing education certificates in Collection Industry Laws and Procedures, American Collectors Association Top Managers’ Seminars, Predictive Dialing Techniques and is the recipient of the California Association of Collectors’ Star Award. Ralph attended California State University, Sacramento where he majored in accounting and minored in economics. His detailed knowledge from both a sales and operations background provide a level of experience that supports RCA’s mission to offer quality consultative service.
Christian Paff
VP Collections and Operations
Christian, a third generation collection professional, has over 15 years experience in commercial and healthcare collection industries; including: Skip-Tracing, Front Line Collector, Collection Manager, Call Center Manager, Inventory Manager, I.T. Coordinator. His broad base of knowledge, depth of experience and familiarity with debt recovery in every major industry makes him a valuable member of our team.
Our clients rely on his expertise and comprehensive understanding of regulations, industry-specific requirements, nuanced file handling practices and more. As an innovative provider of accounts receivable management solutions, Chris is consistently pursing and implementing successful collection strategies to exceed our clients’ goals and recoveries.
Dan Correa
Senior Director of Operations
Dan has over 20 years of experience in the commercial and healthcare collection industry. His experience includes; Skip-Tracing, Front Line Collections, Legal Collections, Collection Manager, Legal Department Manager, Inventory Manager.
Dan’s wide range of experience, knowledge of collection practices, negotiation techniques, leadership skills and passion to stay current with our clients’ needs, ensures Rash Curtis creates effective collection work standards, policies and procedures as well as meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
His leadership qualities and knowledge of industry have made him a valuable resource and mentor to our collections & client service department staff and clients. These skillsets have helped him build, guide and mentor staff to create a strong team work environment with superior communication skills to achieve high revenue recovery results with first in class customer service.
Collection Staff
Our competent and qualified bilingual staff is selected for their ability to deal with a diverse population and difficult situations with calm resolve while keeping the ultimate goals in view.
Our on-going training focuses on finding creative solutions for today’s complex collection problems with sensitivity to our client’s customer base and we do this through comprehensive and continuous training.
Training:
New employees are required to participate in our initial four (4) week training program; and must pass all written, oral and an online skills assessment exams with a score of 100%, before they are allowed to speak with Patients/Guarantors or Clients.
Upon completion of training and testing, all employees receive course completion certificates in these areas:
- FDCPA Certificate
- HIPAA Certificate
- Harassment Free Working Environment Certificate
In addition, all employees receive on-going training and coaching through company meetings, audits, one-on-one reviews and webinars on customer service, communication, empathy, skip tracing, insurance, FDCPA, HIPAA, health care and other revenue recovery techniques. Also, employees receive monthly and annual performance reviews.
